Son of William and Florence Stansfield.Joined with brother Pte Harry Stansfield 241034 1/5 E Lancs;other brothers serving AM 2 Joseph RFC and George RFA sisters Annie,Edith and Norah.Joined August 1914 and 10/9/14 sailed from Southampton to Alexandria and 10/5/15 to Gallipoli and left 29/12/15 to Mudros and 17/1/16 arrived at Alexandria and March 1917 to France, died as a result of War service.
